7/23/07 - Queens of the Stone Age, Gerald Polley on God's Favorite Radio Show, DJ Federleezee, and Hu's Shooting Rockets?

7:45 - Psycho Mike Character: K-Fed Wants to be a KIIS DJ
Kevin Federline wants to be a DJ at KIIS fm.  Is anything a better match than those two things? As one of the boys pointed out, now we can ignore both talentless hacks at the same time.  They called Federleezee up, and he introduced clips from a demo tape he made, where he urged 'fellow' blacks to kill whitey, made fun of Justin Timberlake, and - lamest of all - made a 'foot loose' pun.  Even Bean was appalled: "You're not going anywhere if that's the kind of comedy you're doing..."

8:10 - Queens of the Stone Age
Josh Homme came in-stuio and talked about their most recent album, Era Vulgaris, touring, recording Desert Sessions sessions, and more. He also sang a few songs live.
 
9:00 - Ralph Showbiz Beat
While talking about John Travolta (and Hairspray), Kevin spontaneously had Mike do an impression of Vinnie Barbarino. Mike was completely unprepared and flustered, but gamely tried his best. Unfortunately, Ralph pointed out that it sounded more like a retarded Christopher Walken.  This became a running joke the rest of the segment.

9:15 - Gerald Polley Reports That God Loves the K&B Show
They been teasing this for weeks, but spiritists Gerald and Linda Polley finally came on with their latest message from God. This one was wholly unexpected: God wanted everyone to know that K&B was the favorite radio show in heaven!  Apparently, whenever the boys talk to the Polleys, they (and everyone in His Kingdom) feels a surge of good karma. And he liked Queens of the Stone Age earlier this morning.
But, after hanging up with the wacky couple, God himself called in, saying they were crazy - Big Boy's actually his favorite!  He rang a cow bell as he yelled out "Who's in the neighborhooooooood!"  He also adde: "Mmmm, that Luscious Liz, some of my best work right there!  And Who does that retarded Christopher Walken voice?  Freaking awful!"

9:30 - Ralph Character: Hu's Firing Rockets Into the Sky? Yup
There's a news story that weathermen in China plan to fire rockets in the sky to get rid of any rain clouds that might threaten the Olympic opening ceremonies next year. To find out more, the boys called up Chinese President Hu Jintao. As usual, the conversation devolved into a Who's on First routine, which went something like this:

"Hu's going to be firing the rockets?"  "Exactly!"
"Hu says this is going to work?" "I sure do!"
Kevin: "Who thinks this bit is funny?" "Yup, I sure do!"
"So when are you going to do this?"  "No, when is the Secretary of Treasury!"
